I'm a software engineer from Monterrey, Mexico, now based in Greater Austin, TX. Today I'm a Senior Consulting Engineer at Psyncopate, working on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Over four years at Disney, through April 2026, I built the Cost Visibility Platform from scratch — which gave hundreds of engineering teams real-time visibility into multi-billion dollar cloud and observability spend across AWS, Datadog, Kubernetes, and several other vendors. I owned the full stack: Databricks ETL pipelines processing billions of records, a FastAPI service layer with sub-second response times, and React dashboards adopted across internal portals. In the final stretch there I integrated LLM-powered diagnostics — systems that explain cost anomalies in natural language, which reduced the need for manual triage.
Before Disney, I went deep on infrastructure-as-code. I authored four official Terraform providers in Go — MongoDB Atlas, Nutanix, Outscale, and AzureStack — and was recognized by HashiCorp as a Core Contributor in 2019. The MongoDB Atlas provider alone has since surpassed 64 million installs. I also led the migration of hundreds of on-premise databases to AWS managed services, with IaC patterns adopted across thousands of services in the Hulu and Disney Streaming ecosystem.
I graduated first in my generation at UANL (94.44/100), started my career winning an international game dev competition in Spain, and have been shipping production platform and data systems at scale ever since.
